Saw this plane and watched it Fly at Kermits First museum at Tamiami Airport in South Florida. He used to have member days and crank up all the warbirds. Saw him do a wheels up landing in a P-40 after the Hydraulics failed

I thought this Mosquito crashed a few years ago...is the number RS712?

About 40 years ago when I was flying out of the British Aerospace field at Hawarden near Chester, on final approach tower told me an aircraft would be overflying the crossing runway. It was a Mossie, don't know if it was this one, but it was based there in Hawarden for a while. Hawarden was originally a DeHavilland facility.

In response to Donald Duff, this aircraft is indeed RS712. It has been a non-flying display at EAA since 1991. I found no information regarding a crash.
