Sorry but I really think this is a composite

Ian - I can understand your suspicions, however, if it were to be a composite, whomever did it must be extremely talented. The hue of the sky transcends exactly between the wheels as seen at the rear under the fuselage, as well as the very thin gaps seen between the flaps and wing.

This picture isn't real. To the first: The AWB (adjusted white balance) from the clouds, the moon and the aircraft is different. Another part, the moon ist to sharp and to clear for the lightsituation.
The Aircraft is taken by cloudy weather without sunshine.
Unless I'm very much mistaken ...this is a composing from three Pictures.

Also I think the aspect ratio of the aircraft to the moon could not be done with any telephoto lens - no matter how large

ich habe selbst schon viele spektakuläre Momente eingefangen, die gelegentlich für Diskussionen sorgten.
Über lange Brennweite lassen sich unglaubliche Sachen einfangen.
Kannst Du was zu ISO, Blende und Verschlusszeit zu dem Foto sagen. Brennweite war gewiss 400mm. Ich würde auf hohe ISO tippen, um die Verschlusszeit runter zu bekommen. Das würde dann einige Bildeffekte durch Entrauschen erklären.....naja...die Knippserei soll Spass machen, keinen Stress verursachen :-)
Ich bin immer ziemlich neugierug und auch fair genug, eigene Fehleinschätzung zu korrigieren. MAn lernt nie aus, seine Sinne zu eichen :-)
