Lockheed F-22 Raptor (04068)
A Nellis-based USAF F-22A Raptor (04-068) making a noon hour departure from NAS Fallon to participate in a Top Gun final evaluation exercise.

In addition to this F-22, other types of aircraft involved in the final evaluation sorties were USAF Eagles (2) and Vipers (4); USN Tigers, Vipers, Hornets, Super Hornets, Growlers, Seahawks, and a Hawkeye; and one more USAF Raptor.
C.W., TYVM for the compli. Due to circumstances, this time I could not be given access to the exterior catwalk around the top of the Control Tower. So this shot was taken from the top, but because I was inside, I had to snap it thru a tinted window.
Wouldn't have guessed it was taken through the tower cab window! Sounds like a busy day at KNFL for sure!
