05-5140

提交时间:

As the sun is setting behind my spotting position, this March-based C17A Globemaster (05-5140) climbs away from Reno Tahoe International's runway 16R and up into a cool blue late afternoon/early evening sky.
Rather surprisingly, according to the data counter, this is apparently the first picture of 05-5140 to be posted into FA's photo gallery. I find that a bit difficult to believe; however, that's what is indicated below.
* I suggest clicking on the FULL size of this pic to see it in best Q and C. *

There were two C-17s (this one and one from Charleston) here at Reno during the brief visit by VPOTUS Biden. I thought they were both here in support of his visit, but this one departed (as shown here) well before Uncle Joe's Boeing VC-32A did, so perhaps it was here for a different reason. In any event, a few minutes after Air Force Two took off, equipment could be seen being loaded on to the Charleston Globemaster.
