McDonnell Douglas DC-10 (N1858U)

A photograph of a WARDAIR DC-10 in a local newspaper arriving at a small provincial airport where I lived captured my soul and I was in awe of it‘s size compared to the usual BAC 1-11 and Trident types.

This jet had magic, it shaped and developed my entire aviation interest to this day and this amounts to many years of recreational study and enjoyment.

I regret the current loss of imagination within the design stations within Boeing and Airbus.
