—Runway 9 Telluride Regional Airport Highest Commercial Airport in the United States Elevation: 9070 ft. Comments "Tower, so beautiful here, request Go Around..." Second, thought. "What the heck am I thinking....?"  Reminds me too of Jackson Hole, WY.  Just Beautiful !!!  Nice picture! Love Telluride. Such a great little airport!  Got lots more room in Jackson Hole!  Everything about this picture is sooo beautiful !!!  nice  Just beautiful!!......landings at Quito, Ecuador some 300 plus feet higher somewhat even more exciting ...especially back in the early eighties in a DC10... had to be towed back at the end of the runway to be turned around...it was rather short lol |
