Boeing Globemaster III (99-0165)
Thousands and thousands of tons of USAF heavy metal here on the Atlantic Aviation ramp at Reno Tahoe International. Three of the many visiting military metal aircraft are visible (or partially visible) in this shot: a C-17A Globemaster III (99-0165) of the 445th AW at Wright-Patterson in Ohio is front and center. Next, just behind it, is 63-8004, a KC-135R from Kansas, and behind that is a Memphis-based Globemaster. Not visible in this photo because they are ramped behind the Memphis C-17 are three more aircraft: a C-17A (02-1112) displaying the Mississippi tail flash of the 172nd AW, another KC-135R (63-8030) from Hawaii, and a C-130 from Channel Islands.
