"British Airways is to begin flying from Stansted for the first time..." That isn't right. I remember I flew BA from MAN to STN in 2002. A 40-minute flight and they served a hot breakfast. Granted, it was regional and not BA mainline.
Back in the early 20000s before Ryanair swallowed the place, I remember KLM even had a lounge at STN.
