The one "elephant in the room" that no one wants to talk about, is DEI being used in hiring practices. You do not put people in positions just because of being a certain race or gender. You go out and get qualified people regardless of pigeonholing positions because of a current administrations POLITICALLY motivation hiring demand. It was required when I did work on an aircraft to have a "safety man" to check behind me. I could never sign off on my own work. An ideology should never be a part of a hiring process.
Exactly. We must return to merit based hiring and promotion across all industries and the military but especially those positions in aerospace where poor performance could endanger the flying public.
