Air Force To Hold Close Air Support Summit; May Need New Weapon
There is some evaluation of the current status and why the Air Force numbers are distorted, but some of the comments by readers are insightful and well thought out. The poster on replacement requirements named Curtis is obviously knowledgeable. (breakingdefense.com) 更多...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
They should have had these CAS conversations before they committed billions of $ to that hunk of non working junk called the F35. It has wrested the title of "spare parts flying in close formation" away from the F-4. Sad part is, the F-4 worked. The F35 never will. They said they might even need a new weapon. They just can't get away from the notion of wanting to spend money, and accept the fact that they have something that works already.
If the money ain't moving, how can it fall in their pockets?
