F-35A post 15:1 simulated kill ratio at Red Flag

With that price tag, it better perform!
LRIP 10 is as cheap or cheaper than existing 4th Gen platforms.
So, it does pretty well against 40-year-old fighters (though that "1" in the 15:1 would indicate it wasn't perfect). But how well will it do against newer enemies?
Even the F-22 has lost to those 40 year old fighters. They even lost to a T-38.
When there are 24 regenerating aggressors you tend to lose a few times. As noted by one of their commanders, training that's too easy doesn't do anyone any good.

Still does not tell us how it would really stack up against an actual front line enemy.
Neither has any of the training for the F-22. That was sort of my point. But the F-22 is touted as the most amazing fighter built, while people fine excuses for the F-35 performance.
