Bell V-22 Osprey (16-8350)
A pair of USMC VMM-163 Ospreys are moments away from taxiing off the Atlantic Aviation apron.

No matter how many times I take pics of Ospreys, it never gets old. They are always awesome to see and to capture.
I don't see these too often in BOS so thank you for sharing this one!
Excellent! What a 'plane/copter'! See these a lot around Camp Pendleton.
I was involved in the Bell 609 prototype at NASA AMES mid 80's-90's, so complex we always wondered how in the world military would maintain such a complex ship. But they seems to have become astute at it. Been a good platform for the Marines as far as I can tell. Don't know the maint. man hours verses flight.
Nice pic, Gary!
I read somewhere that they are worse to fly in than a Chinook, does anyone have any experience of that?
