Flying in Africa is a little different than in the USA. We had just landed at a remote strip in Tanzania near a safari camp we were going to. Hop off the plane, pick up your bag from the ground next to the cargo hold, and go find your driver. Notice the large knife on the hip of the Maisa man in the center of the picture. Can you imagine trying to get on a plane in the US with that strapped to your waist? By the way, Africa is a magnificent place. If you ever have a chance to go on safari, by all means GO! Best trip we ever took!
