I find the color variance of a paint scheme in different lighting situations very interesting. Here in this evening shot, the SWA current livery is a very deep, almost navy blue. However, during broad daylight the shade of blue looks much lighter and vibrant.

The increased richness of yellow with low sun does make quite a difference to colors especially blue with yellow being its 'opposite'. As you pointed out, with SWA's blue, bright during high sun, quite a bit richer and darker in low sun, then there's the exposure...
