ROTFLMAO!! This is a Lockheed 1049 that was never a USAF EC-121.

I would suggest that this C-121 has never flown a commercial passenger.

This particular Connie was a C-121C with the USAF serial no. 54-0157, construction no 4176. See history at https://hars.org.au/lockheed-c-121c-super-constellation/. The 'EC' description is probably one of those FA issues.
I was in Ceylon 1959 when Quantas used RAF Negombo saw many and PanAm 707. DC3
What a magnificent photo of a magnificient aircraft. Sunset / sunrise adds to the pleasure of seeing this.Brightened up my morning no end. Wandered around inside one when it came to the UK a few years ago...
Gets my vote for the most beautiful piston engine transport ever built. Thanks for posting, great photo!
Gorgeous.
Google This: USN EC-121 Warning Star Barbers Point 1964 8x12 Photo.

Wholeheartedly agree, this is one of, if not the most beautiful aircraft to fly the skies.
Actually this bird is STILL around. Check out https://hars.org.au/lockheed-c-121c-super-constellation/
