Lockheed C-130 Hercules (73-1583)
Comments
The Hercules C-130 in various configurations may be around as long as the C-47 Dekota.
That is not your, stock-out-of-the-box C130. It looks like it has a few extra toys. Don't look forward to seeing the inside of this one at your local air show. Actually this one and all of it's friends are probably too shy to make an appearance.
Pity that there's not a couple more visible serial number digits for an ident. Certanly not your cookie-cutter Herk!
Looks like a EC-130H a multi-role variant in its own right.
Aircraft is indeed an EC-130H "Compass Call" Herk (thank you, skylab72!)
According to Joe Baugher's Serial Number database, the USAF has/had only
18 such aircraft, and the only one of those with a SerNo ending with a
"3" is 73-1583 (MSN 382-4545). 1583 came off the assembly line as a conventional
"H" model and was converted to an EC-130H *Compass Call* command, control, and
communications jamming aircraft.
The 41st, 42nd, and 43rd Electronic Combat Squadrons are based at Davis-Monthan AFB;
Their parent unit, the 55th Electronic Combat Group, is based at Offutt AFB, Nebraska.

Thank You guys for all of the additional information. I really appreciate it
