(KTVI)– On April 22, 2011, Good Friday, a tornado did significant damage to Lambert Airport, especially to Concourse “C”.  Just days before Good Friday 2012, Concourse “C” reopened Monday morning. It is all part of a major makeover for the airport in the wake of the storm.

Morning flyers were greeted by a whole new look, new restaurants, and some returning favorites.  Some of the renovations in the concourse were planned before the tornado. Others became necessary after the storm.

The updates also include new lights, new tile flooring, new signage, new map directories and major updates to the bathrooms.
