Flying bum' to take to the skies once more

提交时间:

The world's largest aircraft, the Airlander 10, is ready to take to the skies again after crashing into a telegraph pole on a test flight last summer. Affectionately known as the "flying bum", in recognition of the curves of its rear, the 92m-long plane, which is part helicopter and part airship, suffered a "hard landing" in an airfield in Bedfordshire last August. No-one was injured. (www.nzherald.co.nz) 更多...

I am afraid that these guys are risling a lot of money on something that has no specific markets or even potential interested parties. It looks as some kind of "Flying Royal Barge" and they are hoping that once airborne successfully for long periods of time and no further crashlandings clients will surface.
