Air Canada to Acquire 30 ES-30 Electric Regional Aircraft from Heart Aerospace
Battery powered aircraft will have capacity for up to 30 passengers. Electric 200 km range extends to 400 km with reserve hybrid architecture. this purchase ought to ensure lower prices for short haul trips. Those of us who flew US air in the northeast on short haul trips of 400 miles or so and had to pay 600 dollars or more might wish AIR Canada well on this introduction of EV airliners and their ecological and financial implications.
