The stuff we accept and sometimes take for granted like refueling. These men and women who perform have such intelligence, skill, training, and dedication. Good for them. Good for us!

They must transfer fuel at a really high rate because they sure didn't seem to stay connected very long or, perhaps since it is only training, they are getting a splash and go so they can come back and do it again. Take about threading the needle....
Probably a splash and go. Making contact is the hardest part of refueling. The KC-135 can pass fuel at 6,000 pounds per minute but cuts off pumps for smaller airplanes to prevent a disconnect. For the B-52 we took on 10,000 pounds then did multiple contacts or stayed in our 8 foot box for the time it would take to transfer large loads of fuel.
Gosh you guys have 184 of them? What for doorstops - I betcha they can't beat an SU35 or even your old F5.
The capabilities that the AF is willing to show is just the the proverbial tip of the iceberg. No on outside of the AF and the pilots who fly them know exactly what they can do. Sure, the Su-27 and it's variants can pull off some amazing maneuvers, but are no different than what the F16 and F22 can do and that we have seen.
No military is going to show the world the exact capabilities of its hardware without a need to. That is how militaries keep ahead of others. The F22 a doorstop, not hardly.
