As it should be in public. I really don't want to hear what you're blasting, would you want to hear my hard rock/heavy metal music blasting? It's not just generational either. I ta l e the train to get around Atlanta. The worst offenders are older drunk guys with blue tooth speakers blaring old R&B from the early '80's like we're at a house party.
It is a nuisance in any public place, and that includes people talking with the speaker on.
There was a time, where people huddled up close to the pay phone and talked really low so as no one else could hear a conversation. With cell phones, that has gone out the window, and to make things worse, it is nothing but gossip for the most part. If one has to spend more than 5 minutes on the phone, it isn't an important conversation.
Good! Wish it could be done in other public places too.
Even people "finishing up" phone calls during boarding are annoying "twats" at the English say.....
Quite right too - 99% are worthless BS calls anyway.
