Ryanair silences woman who complained about seat with savage two-word put-down

Submitted
When a woman complained to Ryanair about her plane seat lacking a window view, she probably didn't expect to get a response like this one. The budget airline, notorious for poking fun at complaints about its service on social media, was quick to defend itself against the video posted online by Klaudia Oliwia. The passenger, known online as @klaudiaoliwiap, posted a clip showing herself sitting in a windowless seat next to the plane's wall. "POV: Nobody warned you about seat 11A on… (www.mirror.co.uk) More...

Yeah, that's a "learn to read" moment. Maybe someone could introduce her to Seat Guru?

Is SG still being updated? Reason I ask is one example Delta scrapped the 777's and they are still shown.

SeatGuru is owned by TripAdvisor now and hasn't been updated for YEARS. I've had decent luck looking at https://seatmaps.com/ and also at https://www.aerolopa.com/ for the info I always appreciated from SeatGuru

Thank you for this information about SeatGuru. Seems TripAdvisor loves to put their sites to sleep and not update. Look at thier forums, which are too often only ancient posts.

Is 'influencers' just another and shorter way of saying 'upthemselves and full of their own selfImortancers"

Sadly social media is plagued with these people who think they are somehow smarter than they actually are. The way I see it if you have to tell people your somehow superior to them then your obviously not.

Most people are to dense to realize when someone knows more than they do, maybe lower your expectations of the perceptive skills of others.

Sorry to observe that you probably meant too dense and I couldn't have lower expectations on the proofreading capacity of the general public.

Not to mention the "your" (twice) above. Sorry, couldn't resist Tim. I've done it myself occasionally.

That is about the way I see it... I call them either Mr or Ms "Better Than You"... I hate those kind of people. I also see them as being "Half a Dozen Less than a 6 Pack"!

This is a story about a self important woman who cannot pay attention and believes that she is not at fault. Social media sure has made people stupid.

I love that movie. First saw it when it came out in the theaters and have watched it countless times since. Everything I know about the aviation industry I learned from Airplane

Hmm...on most flights I've been on recently, almost no one but me even bothers to open the window shade, even for takeoff or landing (safety of flight alert). Besides, I wanted to see Greenland!

The premise that one has no expectation of privacy when in a public place has been around a very long time. One could say that even inside the fuselage of a passenger plane is still a public place.

Anytime someone can silence a woman, it's a win in my book...
