Classic DC3 arrives at Oakland International Airport with medical supplies for Hait
This classic 1943 built DC3 is operated by Remote Area Medical, a volunteer group who takes medical supplies and other assistance to people in need. This is a short clip of them powering down at Oakland International Airport in Pontiac (Waterford) Mi. I submitted a number of photos of the DC3 that are on this (Flight-Aware) site, see the gallery for the photos, registration is N982Z, So nice to see a classic bird in Michigan! I hope you enjoy, Michael (www.youtube.com) 更多...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
They've got a Beech 18 and a Cessna 206 as well. They run some pretty interesting programs. They also use the DC-3 as a jump platform for medical teams who volunteer to sky dive in to remote areas. They are based at a local non-towered field here. Their website is: http://www.ramusa.org/
