Lufthansa Rolls Out Sharkskin Film on Aircraft to Reduce Emissions

What was nowhere stated is how much weight the skin adds to the aircraft and how much additional speed can be gained from the reduced drag at different power settings. The savings per flight seem to be small but overall cumulative savings per year in terms of reduced fuel consumption seem to be quite significant.
