The darned things shouldn't be allowed on any aircraft "turned on". They are a nuisance and fire hazard. Lithium is unpredictable at different pressures. A load off lithium brought about the end of a UPS flight near Dubai a couple of years ago.

TORONTO — A woman suffered minor injuries after her cellphone caught fire on a Vancouver-bound flight from Toronto on Thursday morning.
Air Canada flight AC101 was at the gate preparing to depart Pearson International Airport around 7 a.m. when the passenger’s “cellphone began to burn,” Air Canada spokesman Peter Fitzpatrick said.
