these commercial christians have long since bypassed serving the Lord and his creation, mankind, so listen to Copeland's derangements and you will understand why church attendence in america is in decline.

Church attendance is in decline because less people are buying into mythology, except where education & science is discouraged aka the Red States!

I saw this loony (Copeland) interviewed on last night's news. He came across as a complete fool, leering and the female interviewer, shaking a bent finger at her. No wonder he thinks he has to fly on private aircraft. If he ever appeared on a commercial flight, someone would probably unscrew the top of his head and dump out the sawdust.

Needs to stop just because they proport to be some person expounding God does not make them tax exempt as many preachers are very well off due to donations from those they sell snake oil to.

This is a really callous, 'misinformed', an misguided statement. I don't know if you go to church, but I suspect you don't. Churches for the most part, do not use their money to get rich, accumulate things, and do not seek profit. The ones that are true to what they should be give away a lot of the money they take in, spend money on missions, sponsor charities or other missionaries, things like that. My church is in a town of app. 30,000 people and has managed to prosper I will admit. It is also a Bible based church that has its focus on God, not money, and gives away 1/3 of its budget to missions, charities and sponsors missions, missionaries, and other smaller churches.

People like Kenneth Copeland are what give the church a bad name. He is a phony and is judgemental, materialistic, and his focus on money, not God, not to be judgemental or anything. Money driven preachers like him are easy to spot. As Matthew 7:15,16 says:

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits."

Behold Kenneth Copeland, a ravenous wolf. Kenneth Copeland should resign and start selling use cars. He would be good at it.

Note, want to see how a preacher of fame should live? Take a look at the life of Billy Graham. He dedicated his entire life to God and never sought money for money's sake. He had an independent auditor consistently audit his organization's finances to make sure there was nothing improper going one and lived in a modest house in North Carolina, not a 6-million dollar mansion. He would also send out free material when one of his crusades was broadcast, never directly asking for payment or a donations. The more I think of Kenneth Copeland, the madder it makes me, and the more I wish his ministry would go the route of Jim Bakker. I o agree to a point, that ministries like his need to looked into from a financial point of view.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME KEN COPELAND? You know something? Growing up in the 80s my mom and I listened to Kenneth Copeland's music, and even watched his TV preaching. I listened to him, even followed along with him talking about passages in the Bible. I don't know ANYWHERE IN THE BIBLE where it says it's OK FOR PREACHES TO OWN 3 JETS (probably paid for by the people in his congregation at the church he preaches at) JUST BECAUSE HE DOESN'T LIKE FLYING COMMERCIAL. I'm sure there's passages in the Bible saying having LOTS OF MONEY ONLY BRINGS EVIL HIS WAY! (Or something to that affect) KENNETH AND GLORIA COPELAND HAVE TURNED RIDICULOUS IN THEIR OLD AGE! Remember, it was over 30 years ago when I actually followed them. They were old THEN! They're ANCIENT NOW!

What he's basically done is wave to the IRS and say "audit me" and to the FBI and say "investigate me for fraud". If you donate to churches and so-called churches and say that "this is money for Bibles for homeless people", by law they either have to spend it on that or return your money. If they put it towards yet another private jet or another mansion or another Rolls-Royce, they're breaking the law. This was what finished off Jim and Tammy Faye Baker of the PTL Club many years ago. (Jimmy banging his secretary didn't help.) If (ha!) Copeland is diverting donations to other purposes and/or skimming from the proverbial collection plate, his bizarre interview has just attracted attention that he will soon regret. Makes my day. :-)

breezyjr 2
Most of the time they don't ask for donations for specific things, just for this reason... I belong to a church, and occasionally you will see them asking for donations for certain things around the church, like recently an upgrade to the organ... But, most times we just donate a $ amount, and there isn't any specificity to it...

That would rank Graham as one of America’s eight richest pastors, Beliefnet.com reported. Graham’s estimated $25 million net worth is equal to that of Rick Warren, but lower than pastors such as Joel Osteen ($40 million) and Kenneth Copeland ($760 million).

Forbes has reported that two nonprofits associated with Billy Graham are among the biggest charities in the U.S. Samaritan’s Purse posted revenues of $635 million in 2016, while the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association had $101 million in revenues in 2010. Both organizations are now run by Billy Graham’s son William Franklin Graham III, who is paid well for his leadership roles. Better known as Franklin Graham, he received a whopping total of $1.2 million in 2008 and $880,000 in compensation in 2014 for running the two charities, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Billy Graham had an air conditioned dog house for his dog plus major luxuries. They'll never change. It's like the bible is an Art Of The Deal story telling book for them. On the crooked side having an air service company separate from the church that takes money out of the church to put it back into his holdings and use then I'd think its an easy bust.

Why is this here? We get it, he's a hypocritical nutjob douchebag. This has almost nothing to do with aviation. And a side note that Christians don't condone this behavior and are not this guy. THIS is why the GOP wants to make churches able to contribute and support politicians, and political parties. They are atracked to all piles of money, especially piles of money from people that want power. It's quid pro quo. Give us money, insure our longevity in office, and we give you power, a theology in America.

These frauds have GOBS of money! Cold hard cash, and they have, collectively, billions of wide eyed and slack jawed followers willing to give away their last $20 to a lying stealing fraud claiming they are going to heaven, and vote for whomever they say.

Prostitution isn't the 'oldest profession', it's religious frauds controlling the people. The sheeple.

One 'pastor' in northern Michigan, whose wife drives around in a gold edition Cadillac, declared to his flock of idiots that God spoke to him, and told him that he needs a new jet airplane to help 'spread the word'. So he did the old 'God is threatening to kill' me ploy, and sure enough, his 'flock' suffered and scrimped enough to get him his private jet. In an area with record poverty. I heard people were mortgaging their homes to supply him with money. Selling their furniture, and doing without medication and food.

Being a preacher is a hell of a racket...

Mark 10:11-12 — “Whoever divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery against her. And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery.”

Copeland has been divorced twice.

Poor Kenny is only #1 on the list of richest pastors in America.

In 2009, Copeland's $3.6 million jet was denied tax-exempt status, opening up a possible investigation into the church's expenses; Copeland failed to disclose the salaries of his directors. In 2008 the ministry stated it owned five airplanes, one of which is valued at $17.5 million. Copeland's ministry bought a multi-million Gulfstream V jet airplane and Copeland thanked his followers and Jesus for buying it when it was delivered at the Fort Worth airstrip, wearing a pilot jacket and sunglasses. The jet was bought from filmmaker and businessman Tyler Perry. Now the church is asking another $17 to $19.5 million for the building of a hangar, upgrading the runway, and maintenance.
