Plane down at KCFD

Tragic. A plane crashed in the town I went to college. The wife saw the report, and recognized the paint job, and they panned the wreckage, and said they were not going to release who owned the plane. Of course she recognized the 'n' number, and the news report said 'everyone survived', and they weren't going to release the details on the owner. The stupidity of the station was epic. The husband actually died in the crash, and the station 'lied'. The wife was a nurse at a local doctors office. She called the hospital ER. The person answering said that they had her husband there, and she should come down immediately.

Someone had to drive her there. She was, obviously, freaking out. She reportedly sued the station for high 6 figures, and was rumored to get it. Ouch. Stupid screw up...

N numbers are just like license plates. Showing them is stupid, and reckless. These guys at least did it right.
