Stationed in South Korea 1984-85, my unit was responsible for the inventory, maintenance, & if need be; signing over of two large ammunition storage areas reserved to the South Korean Army in event of the North Korea coming across the border. These storage areas were on South Korean military installations.
One day we were inside one of the large above ground ammo magazines (think the size of two & a half football fields) inventorying ammo. South Korean soldiers were bring down 6-7 pallets of 155mm HE, Rocket Assist, 6 rounds to a pallet, 16 pounds of Comp B per shell. The propelling charges were stored in separate magazines.
They moved a little too fast & dropped all of the pallets to the concrete floor. Everyone but the SK soldiers driving the forklift had an ‘Oh Sh*t’ moment while the forklift drivers thought it was really funny. Don’t know what happened to them but @ the time (& maybe still) SK NCO’s & Officer's were not beneath physically beating up lower ranked soldiers.

Day before yesterday was the Anniversary of the Green Ramp Disaster @ Pope AFB where an errant F-16 crashed into a C-141 & Airborne troops readying for a jump. Killed 24 good troops.

I can't understand how you can see someone drop a pallet load of explosives and not just fall over laughing...

It would appear that God answered the prayers of a few hundred (or more) Syrians.
