I find it hard to believe that corporate structure allows for top level executives to receive the exorbitant amount in wages and benefits granted to them. Its no wonder at all to conceive how and why the ambitious over paid, corporate zealots at Boeing couldn't care less about their products quality. Like many other corporations they have obviously attempted to eliminate the waste then cut the cost of manufacturing a high quality aircraft from the wrong end of the corporate structure.

Thanks to guys like Sully, we as the flying public can confidently put our lives and the lives of family and friends into the seats of commercial airliners. The team at Boeing seem to be very well suited at selling the entire world a batch of "snake Oil". I'm sure that the litigation will take years to conclude with Boeing going bankrupt to avoid the liability.

Someone screwed the old pooch at Boeing! Components on the planes control system failed. Too arrogant or possibly too greedy to admit it could be something they caused in the first crash. The second one could have and should have been prevented. You cant blame the crew and white wash the Boeing failures to respond to repeated failures of systems on the aircraft. This article seems to still point a few fingers at everyone other then the manufactures team, and a plane that should not have required "Super man" in the cockpit to fly it or save it.

When the lawmakers (now involved) get enough lobby dollars, from the manufacture, the issues will fly away. How did the plane pass federal muster? A lot of grease no doubt.

Years ago these same sales representatives sold snake oil; now its the 737 Max. If it looks like it, and it sounds like it, then sure as heck don't step in it. So is it true that the plane cant fly without the auto program control system? One crash would have been one too many. Are they using firmware or software to compensate for a design flaw or two? Any airo-engineers with a straight answer? Not that any of these guys seem to reek of a slight conflict of interest, you know? Billions are at the runway.
