UpChucked - innocent people die far too often due to law enforcement overreaction. An underweight, naked, schizophrenic man was threatening sucide - standing on a one story building ledge. The police tazed him, he fell, hit his head and died. Good judgement - really? Who was he threatening? "Guns drawn . . . Aggressive stance maintained throughout - even after they were out of the plane" Good judgement - really? Taking Martha King away in handcuffs??? Good judgement - really? John and Martha might be "super pilots", but if you've met them lately it's clear they're not robust as they once likely were. You'd likely offer them your seat on a bus - not handcuff them as uncontrollable criminals. Enough nonsense. Also - enough of VIP TFR's. P-40 (camp david) was enough for years. Now in the last month "South Hampton, Long Island was shut down for a week and Martha's Vineyard for 10 days. Take the job or don't . . . but stop shutting down airspace. It's becoming acc

Agree with Toolguy105. I'd rather pay the $400 or more upfront & have been saying that for some time. Knowing the "real price" in advance would discourage the people that should have taken that bus you (sbase509) mentioned in the first place. I'd much prefer limiting capcity (pull aircraft off line), shaking out the poor performers, and allowing the remaining to charge a fair price and pay their pilots and crew a fair wage. The amount of international flying has resulted in my having a 1/2" thick passport. Yet I'll only fly domestic U.S. at a last resort. PLEASE price it up, discourage the 'bus' crowd, and return it to a better product.

Boycott Spirit. "If it fits under the seat in front of you it's free." This means all of the casual flyers will now be trying to stuff oversized carry on under the seat instead of in the overhead. Time delaying and unsafe clutter.

TFR's for "VIP's" neeed to stop. There are ever increasing numbers of TFR's - not for safety's sake, but rather for the movement of the elite . . . our elected representatives. A week long VIP TFR in Southampton, Long Island . . . airspace shutdown for a vacationing VIP . . . really??? Enough.

The Carrier & Corp. officers should be civilly prosecuted and barred from any endeavor involving the responsibility for the safety and welfare of human beings. As an aviation & business aviation enthusiast, I encourage you to communicate with your congressional represenatives to express your outrage with the Agency's gross security abuses as well as this paticular carriers complete failure of responsibility.

The "Captin" aka Pilot in Command" should be terminated along with the Second and Crew. PIC authority was not used on the behalf those passengers entrusted to their care but rather against them. They should be criminally prosecuted.
