It seems premature for the government to initiate criminal charges before getting the results of the psychiatric screening. Prosecuters heve discretion in these matters, and should not be playing to the public's/FAA's blood lust at this point.
So now they are going to ramp up the TSA screener's power and authority, not to mention salary and retirement benefits by giving them law enforcement training? Q: What do you call a monkey in a tuxedo? A: A monkey in a tuxedo.
Discrimination has become a dirty word in this country, even though the ability to discriminate is (for me) a sign of intelligence. Hooray for the TSA folks at Newark for being able to discriminate the difference between hand grenades and the embroidered image of a handdgun on a leather purse.
