I found this video of the final interior design - in fact it is the cabin that is being supplied to Delta on this last CRJ. The final product didn't look to shabby. I would have no problem flying on a typical regional jet flight leg on this jet > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHzyTHj9k-I

It was but people forget that it replaced slower and less comfortable (and less safe) smaller turbo-props. Canadair/Bombardier created an all new sector of travel with the "Regional Jet" - that was not only fast and more comfortable than turbo-props - but also re-established Jet service to smaller cities that had been abandoned by the major carriers. Eventually Embraer came out with a more comfortable Regional Jet. I haven't been on the latest variants of the CRJ but from what I have seen it did look like Bombardier made improvements in interior comfort. Not the worst place to spend on a flight that average less than an hour. As a Canadian this feels like a sad end of an era when for a time a Canadian Jet invented and dominated a major segment of the commercial airline sector.

Why would an all cargo qualify for covid relief? The grounding of most passenger jets meant a reduction of air freight capacity so it was obvious that Cargo airlines would have more business than they could handle.

"When the flight attendant passes by your row, you’ll be asked if you want to purchase a snack or drink. If you do, the crew will pull up your profile on a mobile tablet and charge your stored payment method. Receipts will be emailed, keeping the purchase process completely touchless" This seems like a very smart process that should have been implemented even before the pandemic. More convenient for the passengers and more likely to generate more online sales.

My thoughts exactly. According to recent reports Adelson is trying to sell the Las Vegas Sands Corporation (Las Vegas, Singapore, Macau) for obvious reasons. They don't need these ancient Mini-Jumbo's to ferry around high-rollers. Better to collect on an insurance payout

I'm sure the "USA is being signaled out" comment is because this A220 is the first A220 to roll off of the assembly line in Mobile Alabama. Bombardier/Airbus were forced to build a final assembly in Mobile after Trump threatened 300% tariffs on the jet (never mind it already had over 50% U.S. content). The other countries to buy the A220 (CSeries) have not demanded it be built in their countries. AROGANT American's see trade as a one-way street. The rest of the world should buy American products but Americans should buy from American's and Americans only with an exception of course of America's "greatest ally" Israel - everyone must buy from Israel or face punishment for "boycotting" America's "most cherished ally" .

The Canadian built Avro C102 Jetliner (first passenger jet built in North America) first flew in 1949! It coined the term "Jetliner" to describe Jet travel. A term still in use today! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avro_Canada_C102_Jetliner

True! The FIRST passenger jet built in North America was the Canadian built Avro C102 "Jetliner" which first flew in 1949!(as with the AVRO Arrow Canada was way ahead of the U.S. in development of a passenger jet!) The Avro C102 coined the term "Jetliner" which has been applied to every passenger jet since then. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avro_Canada_C102_Jetliner
