Having sat in a taxi way oven for hours at the time I can't help but wonder what the cabin temperature and 02 levels were. Not trying to justify nor excuse...but some of the expectations are bizarre.
I understand the 'loath to blame another pilot'...but doing the preflight is essential...and not just the parts you want to. I've flown early in the morning and gotten fuel only to find that I had GALLONS of water in the tank...because the new fuel truck jockey didn't bother to drain the water from their large tank. I've walked away from a flight where the PIC couldn't be bothered to take a sample after refueling...and watched the aftermath when the engine quit on take off. Thats one checklist item you cannot afford to miss. Just do it. Live to fly another day.
some assembly required. Batteries not included. Taxes, Tags, Registration Fees, other fees, insurances, and pilots not included. Fuel cells not included. Fuel not included. Aluminum and other aircraft materials not included. So what have you got? A Bucket of Bits.
All the others were just fine until it was Trumps turn. Then all the wailing moaning, teeth gnashing, crybaby, demturds have to try to start a bunch of crap about it. I have never seen such a bunch of sore losers. But hey...they think they are butt hurt now...just wait til November!!!
Would that there were cheap simple conformal coating. The auto industry gave up on that approach decades ago. They use liquid detectors like is done on cell phones and lap tops so the warranty determination can be a minimal cost to them. That really doesn't help at FL350 when the coffee goes where it shouldn't.
