Aussie airlines crack down on oversized cabin luggage
Qantas offshoot Jetstar is signing up dedicated check-in staff to ensure that passengers aren't abusing carry-on rules when they should be checking large or heavy luggage instead of stuffing it into the overhead bins. (www.ausbt.com.au) 更多...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Jetstar will be my last choice of flight
I travel frequently on Jetstar and only carry a shoulder bag on board. Often I cant find a locker space within cooee of my seat because of people who don't care and are selfish. Just enforce the "does it fit measure and the scales at boarding gate. That will not slow boarding as much as passengers trying to find locker space somewhere on the plane. If it don't fit you are off because you know the rules. Check it in chump.
Fat chance of that lasting..............

Jetstar is the only airline I've had to check luggage with in 14 years. It was annoying.
It would be great if all travelers were treated equally. I travel a lot and often see the Asian travelers yes, taking the kitchen sink and not being ordered to pay excess and my goodness the hand luggage rules.
I was singled out as an Australian in Singapore by Jetstar traveling back to Vietnam where Vietnamese were carting bucket loads of carry on and not pulled up.
Lets get fair here.
THE DAY NEED TO COME WHERE THEY ACTUALLY WEIGH THE PASSENGERS TOO ,HAVE A COMBINATION WEIGHT ALLOWED.

Oops, sorry folks, I don't normally whinge so much about things like this. But actually I'm really happy they are starting to crack down on this. I hate seeing these people who just think they can bring their entire contents of their house including the kitchen sink on a 2 hour flight to Sydney..
