Boeing MD-11 (N546JN)

Striking livery. I'm always mesmerized by the beautiful lines of the DC10/MD11s, and the Lockeed L-1011s, too. They were a very pleasant ride, except when landing in stormy weather.

They are certainly proud of their company name. Michael is right. Looking at a plane is pretty interesting. Every lump, bump, opening, carefully planed and placed. And some planes are really almost sexy...

Okay, yeah, I'm bored, and haven't left the house in over a month.

I was always curious about the swelling aft of the dress ring on the middle engine. There has to be a reason for it, but I, not being an aeronautical engineer, haven't a clue what it could be. But it is a nice look...
