Thanks Diana! Nikon 850 70/200 f4 with 1.4 converter - Stay Safe
A remarkable photo. White plane with black highlights, grey sky, the only hint of color is the landing lights. Brilliant catch. A further question Peter, I note the lens was a 70/200. What make of lens if you don't mind?

Sometimes these shots are a little lucky, and I thought the mono feel of this shot was aesthetically spot-on, but you never know if others will like it. The image was taken approx 15.00 local on Oct 6 as you guessed. Thanks to all for your comments
