Per Cirium: On Nov. 7, 2024 this 2009 Robinson R44 Raven II, owned by Elkhorn Aviation Inc (Oregon), reportedly suffered an engine failure during long line and hovering operations over Baker City, Oregon. The pilot subsequently carried out a forced landing (an autorotation?); however, the helicopter landed hard, resulting in substantial damage. The accident happened in daylight (0837L) and in VMC. The helicopter was operating a flight from Baker City Municipal Airport, Baker City, Oregon. There were no injuries.
