What an amazing photo. How is a camera converted to infrared?
M Bodkin
Many years ago, infrared film could be obtained. But that was when I shot 35mm. Nowadays, could it be done with filters?

For dslr's, the sensor filter is removed.

Superb Photo.

Great job Michael.

Great photo Michael! Sometimes black and white outdoes color photos, and this is a great example.

That's the coolest photo I've seen in a while. Thanks for posting.

In reply to M Bodkin: An R72 filter can be used to block non-infrared light but the exposure times (~30 sec) make it unusable for flying planes. Thank you all for your kind comments. I’ll post more in the future.

Probably the best photo I've seen on here. Surprised there isn't some jackas$es nitpicking it. Excellent shot!!!
