Sam, this is very likely USAF s/n 70-1583, which would be a T-38A with later conversion to T-38C. The s/n 70-0583 would be in a block (70-0469/0652) assigned to a cancelled contract for the McDonnell-Douglas F-4E Phantom II, from Joe Baugher's information.
