Brian Wilkes - Sam has previously uploaded quite a number of older historical airline and aircraft images from a collection of archived postcards as he owns.

As with this one, he always provides a forthright and full disclosure that the photo is scanned from a postcard... and hence, not his own creative photographic work.

At least to me, his contributions therein provide much visual enjoyment and added benefit to FlightAware's photo library.

Brian, I've uploaded over 2,500 old airliner photos. They are to bring back memories of a past era because many FA members flew, worked on, or saw them at some point in their life.

Aah, that Turtle logo! The little things we soon forget about! Keep 'em comin' Sam. There's also people on here who have never seen a DC8 or a Tristar. These are little time capsules into a bygone era, fantastic!
