Nice to see some color again with US military aviation. We really could learn from other nations on how to paint aircraft for significant events, and celebrations.
very nice...congratulations
Air National Guard, they take great pride and very good care of their aircraft. I worked with ANG units quite a bit back in the day and their aircraft made our active duty birds look like dump trucks. Really some outstanding airmen and support staff in those units.
The paint job looks cool but the reason the USAF doesn't like individual likeness on aircraft. I heard some excuse saying that paint gives away the unit the aircraft is from to the enemy.
Looks great but consider the manpower time and money for some bragging rights. Just like I'm concerned about the flare releases during demo/air show flights. Kind of costly. Look up the costs of the flares. Jim, ol' retired C-130 pilot.
To add to previous comment: flares range from $35 to $3,000.
