Cheers Ian. She has sadly lost the spinners that she had in the January'62 photo. As an ex Ansett F27 pilot, the full flap setting is interesting. It looks like the ground crew are preparing for an engine start, especially the engineer hauling the fire extinguisher. To think that Bristol built her Hercules engines, as well as the Freighter's airframe. Unheard of these days!

The Bristol Freighter would now be built in 7 different countries with parts moved by road, rail and and water to get the finished product into the air at a price no one would be prepared to pay
