F/A-18 Super Hornet at the 2001 Avalon International Airshow. It had just finished its super routine and landed, then turned to face me, and bowed to the audience. Couldn't have been at a better fence post all day long in the sun! This photo, along with all the others from this airshow are scanned from ancient transparencies. I think from memory, it was Fujichrome 50D, shot through my ye olde Nikon F4E film SLR. Lens was an 80-200/f2.8 Nikon. - Awesome stuff!
