Cessna Caravan (ZK-SRI)

Air Safari's big Cessna 208 resting in the sun at Tekapo Airfield, one fine spring morning in September 2011. Whilst travelling south to Twizel and further beyond, I always make a point of stopping here at New Zealand highest registered airfield at Tekapo (2496ft/760m AMSL) to say hello, sniff the burnt turbine exhaust if there's some floating around, and admire the superb views of the Southern Alps, if it's clear. Note the awful view in the distance with the clear calm blue skies. Scenery like this makes it hard to live in the MacKenzie Basin around Tekapo and Twizel...
