Okay, what is the purpose of that fairing with the line of holes? It looks like large ones and small ones aft of the large ones and looks like soot on the outside. Flare launchers? Ahead of the engines? Those can't be firing ports, right?
Super Photo..............awesome shot
Great way to build total time!!! ;+)
There is a very small passenger section just aft of the cockpit. Those "holes" are the small windows for the small passengers. When not carrying small passengers, the "holes" are used for special side-looking sensors (radar/lidar/etc.).
You do NOT want to know what the protrusion just under the cockpit is for.

Bernie20910....whould it be wise to shoot 'flares' in front of the engine ?
Passenger windows? LMAO!! Not!
Maybe the holes with soot are exhaust ports for an APU for extra equipment.
The fairings are the jet’s passive electronic warfare support system. The “holes” are the unpainted antennas
Interesting that this 707-320 hasn't had the high-bypass, turbofan engine upgrade.
Muy bueno
