Beechcraft Super King Air 200 (17-0749)

How's THIS for a treat!!!

While checking FR24 as usual, I noticed a GA icon on the airport's Atlantic Aviation ramp. A quick tap on it like I usually do expecting it to be nothing more than a normal King Air of some type. However, after closing the app it finally clicked that it didn't say King Air, instead saying Beech T-54. Boy am I glad I rushed to the airport, as I got there right as they were starting their roll and had almost zero time to set up! Not bad for a quick-catch with shaky hands!

This is, I believe, a brand-spanking-new airplane for the US Navy! Named the T-54A, it looks to be replacing the existing older T-44 Pegasus trainers. I cannot find any information about specific airframes such as this, but I'm sure as time goes on the information will make its way to the web! I believe this one is based at NAS Corpus Christi going off of the tail code.
