Don't know which would be worst; Landing an amphib on water with the gear down, or landing it on terra firma with the gear up.<LOL>

Landing an amphib on the water with the gear down is an almost certain flip with sometimes serious damage and injuries. Landing on the pavement wheels up is kind of a non event.
