Boeing 737-700 (N280WN) - Taken from the ground and 4.3 miles directly east of RNO, this shot shows Concourse B and a portion of the alley between B and C at Reno Tahoe International. Normally, Concourse B is used at various times of the day by Southwest, Delta, Frontier, and jetBlue. However, in this shot, nine of the eleven gates are occupied by Southwest aircraft. The three SWA birds on the far left are being stored at the edge of the Southwest apron. That totals an even one dozen Southwest aircraft; the most SW fleetbirds ever seen at RNO at the same time.br /NOTE: "Missouri One" (N280WN) is visible in the center of the photo at Gate B9. Also, there is a Southwest jet at Gate B11 but it is difficult to see at this distance because it is parked "tail on" to my location 4+ miles away.

Because this picture was taken around 9:45 AM from ground level and at such a long distance, there is a slight bit of heat distortion (the temp was already in the high 50s and there were no clouds) caused by heat rising up from the ground between my position and the airport. Overall; however, it came out quite well. At the time I clicked this photo, Missouri One, which had arrived at Reno on Apr 19 and remained for three days, was the only special scheme bird at RNO. A few hours later, I was on the airport grounds when California One arrived. At that point, both Missouri One and California One were at RNO. Both departed later.
