Lockheed F-16 Fighting Falcon —
Thunderbird Number Four is just about to touch the tires to the concrete for an overnight stay in Reno.

I did not get closeups of #4 but I was able to take as many pics as I wanted, including closeups and cockpit shots, of Thunderbird #8 (91-0467).

Looks warm at Reno.
ATW was -17F on Valentines Day at midnight with a breeze.
Our coldest week - that of Feb. 15th ....we had a plane stuck at ATW (it seemed like it was going to be a permanent static display). Memphis normally has 450 arrivals per day. Their arrivals were 25, 30, 45 per day that week. Memphis was only accepting International, the West Coast...big cities like ORD & MSP. Outpost airports like ATW were trucking our containers.
