North American T-6 Texan (N4802E)
Vic McMann, piloting his AT-6A Harvard "Gunslinger" (N4802E) as Race 66, takes off to participate in the T-6 Class Silver Medal race at the 2017 NCAR event. (Note: McMann won the race.)
Comments
The paint scheme on "Gunslinger" is McMann's tribute to his father. It is the exact scheme that was on the RCAF Hawker Typhoon his father flew in WWII. In his own civilian life, Vic McMann flies aircraft that are a bit larger than "Gunslinger"; he is a B777 pilot for Air Canada.
Excellent clear shot and having Vic looking toward you has enhanced it nicely. 5 stars.
